4-16-20 THOUGHTS

Good Morning Loved Ones...  
I got a late start on my morning.  If you haven’t read Richard Kirk’s morning thoughts, you need to!   Marvelous work!

I used to say that “chi ldren are the measuring stick of life”.  Once I had children, my life was measured by their lives.  And we say ‘TIME FLIES”!  
Sad to say, today I seem to measure my days by how often I fill my pill case.  Hmmm
Days seem to run together.  Maybe there’s a thought worth our consideration here?
When days are blurred together as a block of many, life is lost as time is lost.  I deal with life as a BROAD GENERALITY!  It’s only when I live IN THE PRESENT that I can redeem the time!
Josh 23:14-15a    "Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the LORD your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
15  "If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD,
                       choose for yourselves today whom you will serve:
so TODAY... let’s focus on today!   I’d like to be present for the whole day!
Ps 25:5   Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Ps 59:16   But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning, For You have been my stronghold
                              And a refuge in the day of my distress.
Ps 95:7   For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.                                    Today, if you would hear His voice,
Ps 118:24  This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Ps 145:2   Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Prov 24:10    If you are slack in the day of distress, Your strength is limited.
Eccl 7:14   In the day of prosperity be happy, But in the day of adversity consider —  God has made the one as well as the other So that man will not discover anything [that will be] after him.
John 9:4   "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work.
2Cor 4:16    Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying,  
                       yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

My Prayer:
          Lord give us life and keenness of mind this day.  Help us to get the most out of each moment.  May your presence abide in us that we can know your loving power.  Help us to seek growth today...    help our inner man to be renewed one more time.  We love you dear God!
